As you can see, there are four scrobbles/publish requests here, one for “Aphex Twin — On” and three for “The Magnetic Fields — If You Don’t Cry”. Only the first and the last requests actually resulted in last.fm scrobbles.
I first noticed this problem around a week ago.
The server is on a Synology NAS.

Same problem here. My library is stored on internal hard disk of my mac. Some times it doesn’t scrobble at all. I tried reconnecting to last.fm.

I’ll piggy back on this post with a “same here”!
I tried disabling Scrobbling on my Plex account, removed Plex permission from last.fm, and reauthorized everything. It worked for 3 songs and then died again. Doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason as to why. Hopefully someone can figure this out! It definitely started after a server update.

they’re definitely aware, i helped connect @elan and the lead dev at lastfm to get it hashed out. hopefully it’ll be fixed soon. haven’t seen any timeline of when, but they’re on it.

Sounds good. Is anyone else also having trouble with this? This one is not necessarily related to last.fm.
