I tried looking through the logs. Don’t even know what I am looking for. Just downloaded the log immediately after issuing restart (sudo systemctl restart plexmediaserver.service).

Same server running plex for over a year. No issues until about a month ago. Used to be a couple restarts a month, then weeks, now daily. 
Plex media on Synology network storage mapped to ubuntu server.

I’m having the same issue on a QNAP TVS-873 with the latest GA release of the QTS. The CPU will spike and when I look at processes the PLEX transcoder is sucking up all the resources. I have to kill PLEX and relaunch to fix it… It works for a day or two and then it starts all over again
Locked up again. Here’s todays log. 
Locked up again. More logs and htop screenshot and disk space. Not CPU or Memory overload or disk space running out from what I can tell.
