Plex locking up almost daily and requiring restart

I tried looking through the logs. Don’t even know what I am looking for. Just downloaded the log immediately after issuing restart (sudo systemctl restart plexmediaserver.service).

Ubuntu 16.04.5
Plex 1.14.1.5488

Same server running plex for over a year. No issues until about a month ago. Used to be a couple restarts a month, then weeks, now daily. :expressionless:

Plex media on Synology network storage mapped to ubuntu server.

Please help!

I’m having the same issue on a QNAP TVS-873 with the latest GA release of the QTS. The CPU will spike and when I look at processes the PLEX transcoder is sucking up all the resources. I have to kill PLEX and relaunch to fix it… It works for a day or two and then it starts all over again

Locked up again. Here’s todays log. :frowning:

Locked up again. More logs and htop screenshot and disk space. Not CPU or Memory overload or disk space running out from what I can tell.
