I think the path should be D:\Plex Data\ Include the trsiling . Plex Media Server isn’t required. Mine is in V:\Plex Media Server and the registry value is V: I have TranscoderTempDirectory set to V:\ also. V:\ is an SSD.

You haven’t read the caveat: don’t include Plex Media Server as the last part of the path in the registry.
