Plex media server on Linux just won't re-scan for new files

Need a lot more info than " Problem " ( like your mechanic “it’s broke” :wink: )

  1. Confirm server DEBUG logging is enabled
  2. Restart the server
  3. Scan files so we can see it
  4. Download the server logs ZIP file (under Server - Troubleshooting - Download Logs)
  5. Attach the ZIP here

99.99% of the time, this is a permissions problem. If it were Ubuntu, everyone would be screaming.

@ChuckPa I am having similar issues. For me plex crashes constantly and is no longer stable, while it used to be. Happy to dm any logs
