Hi again,

Just wanted to let you know that using the pre v30 version of mythtv the plugin works great.

I still have one question, I can’t find where to tune the quality of the transcode?

Ok, perfect. It is good to know this.
In the future I’ll add services API ver. checks - so plugin will autodetect myth version and adjust data parsing.
BTW: pls go with 3.0.1 - it has some bug fixes for error handling.

So have read the thread from top to bottom a couple of times and guess I’m still missing something as I’m getting the "no free tuner was found " error.

Did the upgrade to V29.1-11 since backend was on v28.
Had to move the plex-livetv-proxy.log file to the /TMP directory due to permissions.
MythTV backend and Plex are on the same Mythbuntu setup.
Using HDHomeRun CONNECT Model: HDHR4-2US.
Verified using version 3.0.1 of php script.

I know this isn’t a lot of information but wanted to ask what else I should try to get my setup running please?

Thank you for any help!

---- Unfortunatelly no free tuner was found at Your request…
---- Script will now EXIT!

Hi,
May You pls try current master from my git?
v3.1.0 of proxy script should support now HD HomeRun tuners.
I’m not sure however will PLEX part of LiveTV plugin work with mythtv-29…
Currently I designed it to work with mythtv-master.
Nevertheless proxy script should work with VLC or curl.

Thank you so much! The PHP script is working fine using the HD HomeRun tuner. Kept getting an invalid channel error so had to set the channel to test the script.

VLC: http://192.168.1.117/plex-livetv-proxy.php?chanid=5_1
Terminal: curl -v “http://127.0.0.1/plex-livetv-proxy.php?chanid=5_1” > /tmp/test.mpg

Will upgrade to mythtv-master after getting my ducks lined up. Again thank you so much for the help!

Any chance to get this working on 0.29 or suggestions on getting it to work? I would rather not upgrade to an unstable development version and potentially break other things. Using the latest 29/fixes, I get that KeyError: ‘ChannelGroups’ error message. I don’t even use channel groups - I just browse ‘All channels’

I notice that the mythbackend:6544/Guide/GetChannelGroupList?IncludeEmpty=true
returns the following:

<ChannelGroupList version="1.0" serializerVersion="1.1"><ChannelGroups/></ChannelGroupList>

Does this still work? I installed it but I dont see anywhere to access it. There is a place to configure it under settings but nowhere to launch it. I have the same problems with a few other plugins I have.

I have a plex pass and use it for live tv but wanted to hookup a satellite connection to galaxy19 to expand my channel lineup and this appears to be the only method I found with the possibility of running those channels in the plex interface

It was announced over a year ago that plugins were going to be discontinued and at this point that pretty much have been.

Is there anyway possible to do dvb-s2 in plex? Seems you can do other dvb signals just none that are US based that I can find.
