I follow the naming convention Plex has set out but I think I may have wrongly interpreted it.
I just created a new server and for some reason there is a huge number of mismatched movies.
This is an example of how my library is laid out.
The Accountant (2016) - 2160p - 10bit - HDR - HQ
Should it be this way instead
The Accountant (2016) - 2160p 10bit HDR HQ

if you need the technical tidbits, go with
The Accountant (2016) [2160p - 10bit - HDR - HQ]
As Plex ignores everything in square brackets, those extra details won’t throw the matching off.

To be precise: it ignores stuff within the first pair of square brackets.
So The Accountant (2016) [2160p] - [10bit] - [HDR] - [HQ]
may not work that well.

@OttoKerner Thanks for letting me know I can use up to two square brackets.
I have gone with the prior “The Accountant (2016) [2160p - 10bit - HDR - HQ]” as I want it ignore all of this.
After renaming I had to let it finish all its background processing then restart it. Happy to say that it chewed through 90% of the unmatched files.
Thanks for the help @OttoKerner @tom80H
Yeah, one opening and one closing.
(Just in case someone may misunderstand your wording of “2 brackets”.)
