it causes all movies to use the same poster as a thumbnail, seemingly because it’s incorrectly retrieving all poster images from that path. I’ve experienced this as well.

Could you elaborate, I don’t really know what you mean. Screenshots, server logs, sample nfo, anything to help me understand the issue would be helpful.
