Any news on something like this for mac?
Two small things:
-The "getting data" process is too long IMO recently. It just seems "heavy" every time I go in statistics...
The getting data is going to be required because I Parse all the data and apply the filters to it. This way is readily available when navigating the tabs and for plugins. However, I did Improve the load times for the next patch.
I don't know if it's because I'm on MySQL but it's really painful to wait when I simply want to see the event logs:
-Open statistics; wait like 15-20 sec before seeing anything (that's very long IMO)
-Go to Log events: another 6-7 sec
That's almost 30 secs just to go in event logs....
Wasn't like that before (not sure which version though)
Now, I'm avoiding going there and use PushOver on my iPhone to quickly see the log of event...
Sorry, if my question seems stupid, just trying to understand, what exactly is "parsing". Is it the images? Because the data is there in the SQL database with the indexes, etc.. ready to be shown so I don't understand the loading purpose.
Again, sorry if this question seems dumb, I'm not trying to be annoying here, just curious :)
Ive just swapped servers and holding off installing until the New release.
In the New version are you changing notifications as I dont need a notification for viewing states just buffering and disconnects.
Also is there something in the works for shared syncs? I would like a log of when someones syncing. Personally I think it should show it in the sync window at least.

I am getting the Cannot Connect to MyPlex when I try it on my server. When I install on my Win7-64 bit laptop it signs into MyPlex without any issues. Firewall is on both machines. It works perfectly fine on my Win7 machine. I would rather have this running on the server.
What can be stopping this? No issues with the server, I am trying the same exact account so I know it isn't an account issue. Same network, etc Isn't a Firewall issue since it doesn't have an entry on the Win7 machine.

The app doesn't have permission to access the Internet. try launching it as Administrator. I know another user was having the same problem. Ypu dont need to sign into myplex for it to work on the same network.

I am the Administrator on the server.
The Users don't populate, but they do on the Win7 machine. I did nothing except add the server exactly the same and am logged into MyPlex on the Win7 and not on the server. It's strange how it says the MyPlex site isn't available yet I have no issues accessing my Plex server and MyPlex directly on the server.

Seems a bit like the same issues as me with my windows 2008 r2 server DC.
But I can still use it without issue though... I just get the MyPlex connection issues (without any related problem)

I just tried running it as Administrator and also as Another User. Neither work. The App will not even launch. When I just run it it will open without problem. Very weird. Nothing in Event Viewer. I don't know where to look for any sort of blocks or errors for this.
Gotta head to bed, didn't expect you to respond now. lol I will be back tomorrow.

Is it possible to see what bitrate the user is requesting?
Is it possible to only receive notifications when something is viewed/streamed from my local media and not from channels? I really only want to know when someone else is viewing content on my home server, but not so much when I or someone else in the house watches something on YouTube for example.

Well, channels are only accessible for the main Plex user, users you share with don't see them so disable notifications for you user, that would work (except if you want to be notify of the activity from your own user I guess)

For pushover.net you will need to do the following:
- Right click on the Plex Notify Icon and select Settings from the context menu.
- Select Pushover.
- Go to https://pushover.net/ and create an account.
- Once your account is created you will get a User Key that is displayed at https://pushover.net/ while logged in.
- Copy and paste that user key into the Pushover User Key Field in Plex Notify settings.
- Go to https://pushover.net/apps/clone/PlexNotify and click create application.
- Copy and paste the API Token/Key into the Pushover Application Key field in Plex Notify Settings.
