Sorry if this has been covered but are you going to have notifications on syncing? (from a shared library)
Cant wait for this.
But I thought syncing of Plex content was only allowed from the library of a directly accessed server account, rather than someone else's 'Shared Content'.

Has that changed recently ?

Yes, a recent feature, shared can sync if allowed.
PlexSync has been out a bit.
I believe for the most part PlexNotify leverages the XMLs from the webservice. I dont think syncing is exposed
There is currently no real documented mechanism of seeing if someones syncing from you or not or when. This is not exposed in Sync Status or Now Playing either.
Still waiting patiently for the next update but have a question in the mean time.
How does the movie and TV show count work? Do you have to view something to 100%? How close to 100% do you have to get for the counter to click up 1? I an asking because my daughter who is 4 watches pays off a movie then bounces around to get favorite scenes, those don’t get recorded. If she watches half a movie 50-75% it doesn’t get recorded. I actually looked last night and just about every movie she watches only shows a single viewing yet I know she has watched Frozen as an example 30+ times.
Is this normal? Or does each user only get one “watch”?

Your final guess is probably correct. To my knowledge PMS keeps track of each user's watched flag and partial completion for each movie, but doesn't count how many times it's been viewed by the user. (So just setting the 'Unwatched' status restores the initial state.)

The patch next weekend will fix this. The rule is if they are past 3 minutes and plex notify "sees" the movie has been stopped and re-started before the 3 minute mark it will mark it as another viewing.
There is a bug with the interface though for some reason when you chose to re-start a movie it keeps the view offset from the previous viewing for the first 15-20 seconds. To make it more accurate you might want to up your update time for now to 20 or 30 seconds.
New request: It's possible in Statistics window, that you show me from .log ( PMS ), ip from my friend client user, for example I would like to know if my shared Friends are using their Plex accounts from different ip's with same name.... I can see from various devices, with same name account, but I don't know if they are connected in same place...

I think it's possibly the same request as from Pakorro. What I'm after if possible is some kind of alert if the same shared user is watching something simultaneously on multiple devices. I had a scenario a while back whereby a shared user gave his son his plex login and the kid shared it with mates. I found out as when I tried watching plex remotely all I got was buffering. When I then logged in to plex web I saw 3 or 4 different things being watched by the same shared user. Would it be possible to be notified if this were to happen?

I have what I hope are a few requests/features that would be handy... at least to me.
On the Overview screen where it shows "Most Concurrent Connections:" Can you actually allow a click of this to actually show them? Maybe even have a page dedicated to this info?
Another thought would be a page that lists all devices that connect as well as who connects using them. You are already grabbing this data and calling it Platform in various places, can you collect it all to show it? Maybe even have a page the way you have the Movies that can even show an image of the device or something along those lines? Click on the image then you can see what's being viewed, resolution, user, etc.
Really finding this a nice tool... can't wait to have it on the server itself.
So just an FYI, don't know if its been mentioned or not, but I had to install the Application Role to enable .Net 4.5 framework on Server 2012 R2 x64 for some reason. Connection to MyPlex also has issues, but I read it was going to be in the next patch, so no worries.
Any news on the update with the web interface, I've virtually stalking this thread in anticipation... :-)
Sorry about the delay in the update. I have had a lot of things going on with my personal life that are beyond my control and I have not had the time yet to finish it. Thank you guys for your patience. As this is still in alpha you should look into plexwatch for the time being until i can put more time into dev. Thank you all for your support.
