When will Plex release a paid version of their app for non-Plex Pass users? I thought I read somewhere that they are going to do that
They have stated that that will be the case when development is complete. They are currently still working on completing the app and unfortunately have not released (as is usual for Plex) any type of timeline for completion. Going to be a waiting game, in the mean time you can still use the Media Player app on the Xbox One to watch via DLNA.
Thanks! The stream from the media player app messes up on some videos though for me. It works fine when I stream the same video to the Plex app on my phone or to my Samsung smart TV though.
Yeah I get issues with DTS movies. When PLEX has to transcode I get like half way through a movie then it just quits out and I have to restart the whole movie because you cant FF.
