Plex optimization just keeps failing

Hello, I’ve been having an issue that is starting to drive me crazy. I have some very large video files, that need some optimization so that they can run smoothly on my PMS. However, every time I try to optimize the files, it fails!

I currently have 3 servers in my house: (1) Synology NAS (2) Desktop computer (3) Laptop computer. The optimization process fails on all of these servers. Also I noticed that the optimization seems to fail randomly. For example, sometimes it’ll fail at around 10%, sometimes at around 50%, and other times right before it finishes.

My entire library is stored on my NAS. At first I suspected that there was a permission issue with my NAS. So I tried to optimize using my Desktop PMS, with the output folder set to my Desktop’s local hard drive. It still didn’t work.

I am out of ideas…what should I do?

Same issue with 2 different servers, 73 of my 329 bluray mkvs fail to optimize no matter what. I will follow your post for suggestions.

Thanks, I’d appreciate that.
