Plex pass, can my 2 friends see librarys that my account is linked to?

Hi everyone!

I have been invited to friends librarys and i can stream videos from them.
Is there any way that my other friends, whom are not invited to these servers, can stream from those servers?
If yes, would it be under my name or theirs?

Got a mail with a sweet deal on plex pass, and i don´t want to miss this one…
Thanks in advance!

You can’t share libraries that are shared to you. There have been discussions of this in the past, and it is generally considered a bad idea, because the server owner would have no idea who has access to his server, and his bandwidth could get chewed up without him knowing why.

No, only those people/accounts that are specifically invited to a server can stream.

That means only the people YOU invite can use YOUR server.

And only people your Friend invites, can see THEIR server.

Ask your friend-A to invite your friend-B and friend-C.

If you are family or close enough friends, then it should not be a problem.

And well if you are not, then it is probably best they don’t share anyway.

Thankfully, there is no Friends of Friends permission in Plex.

Thank you all for the answers!
Then I don´t need to worry about my own bandwidth either  That was my biggest concern, that the friends in third person would connect throught me to the friends that share their library.
Since my bandwidth atm is very low uplink, then this is great news.

The “Plex Home” thingie confuses me abit and English is not my native language. Great to have these forums with you guys!
