Just like the YT very useful feature, I would like that the playback accelerator would be implemented here on plex, so some boring movies/series that we decide to watch anyway (for many reasons) can at least be seen in a faster way.
Just for example, the over 3h of Oppenheimer could be watched in just 2h and a half, with a 1.5x.
Also, The Walking Dead latest seasons are so boring. But everyone is curious to watch it til the end, due to having invested a lot of time for the first 6-7 seasons. So, what’s better than a 1.25x or 1.5x to save time?
Considering the Plex Pass does not currently offer enough to justify the high cost (in my opinon, and based on my own use) I think I would actually pay for a special feature like this.
A request for the same feature exists already, and it has more votes.
