Plex & Raspberry Pi 4-B - Update error to v1.19.2.2737

Server Version#: 1.19.1.2701
Player Version#:

I have trouble updating Plex on my Raspberry Pi 4-B to versione 1.19.2.2737.
I read a lot of threads but found nothing usefull to update the server.
sudo apt update and upgrade show me that there is a new version of the server but after I launch the upgrade I get an error and nothing is installed.

I also have a pi4, and did the update yesterday smoothly. Can’t help, bump for you.

Thank you Menel. I sincerely do not know the reason why I get such an error. I’ve to skip the update and I’m afraid to purge the software since I’m afraid to have to scan again the whole library… I use the box only for direct streaming, not transcoding anything and not using any web features… but I’d like to get the apt update and upgrade to work again. Hope someone could give me a hint. Thanks. Andrew

It looks like you have a problem in your apt database.

However, would you include the rest of the installation script output where the installer printed out the source of the warning?

sudo apt list --upgradable

isn’t how we upgrade so I’m curious about the actual command used to perform the upgrade.

Would you please show the missing part(s) of that output?

Thank you Chuck for your kind reply.
Here below you can see the whole log from the SSH connection to my Raspberry Pi 4-B

Maybe I should follow this guidebook to update plex on raspberry pi 4? And it’s not enough to use apt update and upgrade?

https://www.reddit.com/r/PleX/comments/b43vn4/plex_changing_how_raspberry_pi_users/

Just guessing… sorry. At the moment I had to skip the last update on the plex server to get rid of the new version message.

Hope someone from the admins can help.
I get the same error even after uninstalling and reinstalling the plexmediaserver on my Raspberry Pi 4, always get the error on the .deb file… the same error I had when I tried to update the server and it went to try using such .deb package… any hints? Hope someone could help. Thanks, Andrew.

I think I SOLVED it, after having tried many steps, removing removing+purge, trying also to use a previous version of the .deb server found somewhere in the Internet, at the end I followed the below links and used the --force-overwrite command using the lastest .deb version of the server and it make through.
https://askubuntu.com/questions/141370/how-to-fix-a-broken-package-when-apt-get-install-f-does-not-work

I also followed again but a new plexmediaserver installation procedure for my Raspberry Pi 4 and it did work.
