Plex server optimized capability for music playing on the Sonos

Hi all, not sure if this is the right place to post…

Question 1) Is there a capability to use “optimize” for music files. Use the example, I have a sonos system, some of my music is FLAC HD which will not play on the sonos, the sonos will accept FLAC files up to 16 bit and 44.1 kHz only. That is, will Plex server transcode a HD FLAC file to lower res FLAC file so that Sonos or other end client (Requiring certain format) can play the file. If there is no current capability… is it on the forward looking plans?

Question 2) I’m currently trialing the beta plex addin via sonos pc and Android, when I attempt to play songs via the addin it says the FLAC songs cannot be found, and progressively skips to each song until it reaches the end of the playlist (not playing any music). The songs show up in the list correctly, etc. Obviously the beta version is being bug fixed, has anyone else experienced this behaviour with sonos/plex?

Currently running the latest plex pass Linux Plex server “Version 1.3.0.3059”. Clients = Windows 10 Sonos Controller for PC V7.0 build 34735161, latest Android Sonos application.

Thanks
