Plex two factor auth login

Recently I found a forum that shared hundreds of hacked Premium Plex login and password. Most of them works and I assume the owner of these accounts doesn’t even know that someone else accessed their accounts. To avoid that, I think two factor auth login would be very useful to stop unauthorized login.

Is there a way to use 2FA login with Plex ?
I know that someone suggested to use Google account, but how to change from your current username/email login based into Google account with 2FA login based ?

I do not want to create new account with Google account, I want to change so that I can only login with Google account instead of Plex username or Plex email.

Is this the authentication you speak of?

It’d really help if you shared a link with a moderator here.

Who should I send the link to?

It’s very concerning to know hundreds of Plex lifetime or premium accounts are compromised for months without the users knowing it.

I really wish Plex makes 2 factor authentication a standard for Plex login.

It’s crazy you can spy on other people’s private photos and videos without them knowing.

I don’t know. I think I read somewhere that you can use 2 factor authentication sign-in via Google authenticator app for Plex but I don’t know how. With accounts compromised without the users knowing it I want to enable that for my account.

Me for instance, as I am a moderator.
Or you send it via email to security@plex.tv

Ok will do
