Plex Web App Prevent Sleep: MacOS

Whenever I use the Web App it prevents my mac from sleeping after playing a video file.

To test I put 1 minute sleep in the energy settings on my Macbook pro (10.14.6):
1 minute with a few different programs open (including chrome): sleeps fine
1 minute with same programs but plex web app idle: sleeps fine

To replicate issue:

  1. select a single video file in the plex web app (select it by clicking the circle in to top left corner of the video thumbnail)
  2. click play in the menu bar
  3. click the full screen option in the on screen display
  4. when the video ends, it should go back to the video select screen, but now it will not auto-sleep after 1 minute
  5. lastly, if you close the plex tab, it will now auto-sleep after 1 minute.
