Plex Windows Server Build

I am going to get a pc to use strictly for Plex. I was originally going to get a Synology DS 1019+ but I saw a few YouTube videos concerning power supply problems in Synology products and decided to do a build so if something goes down I can easily replace any specific part. Trying to decide what to build was difficult given that there are so many possibilities and everyone’s needs are different. In the end, I decided to go big ( for me at least) or go home.
I am converting all of my media to .mp4 H.264 1920x1080. I plan to give access to my five kids and their households so I am thinking 10 streams on the outside. My house is wired for gigabyte network and I have fiber optic internet. In my house, we use Roku Ultras on our tv’s. For my system I am thinking:

CPU: AMD Threadripper 2920X 3.5 GHz 12-Core Processor (Passmark 21931)
CPU Cooler: Corsair H80i v2 70.69 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
Motherboard: ASRock X399 Phantom Gaming 6 ATX sTR4 Motherboard
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory
Storage: Kingston A2000 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (Win 10 Pro)
Storage: Kingston A2000 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive (Plex data storage)
Case: Phanteks Evolv X ATX Mid Tower Case
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA GS 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply

I am going with Windows 10 Pro because I know it and I want to be able to remote in from my regular desktop. I am not going to activate it so there is no cost. I have 4 Western Digital 2.0 TB Red Drives so I will set them up as media storage, possibly in a raid configuration.
My question would be is there anything that I am missing or not thinking about? I considered a dual nic card but I am not sure if I really need it. I have only been playing with Plex for a month so I still have much to learn.

Thanks

You’ll need a PLEX PASS to enable hardware acceleration to Stream outside your home.

$120 Lifetime PLEX PASS is highly recommended.

And you might want to consider adding an nVidia Quadro P2000.

I own a Synology DS1019+. Love it. Runs my PLEX Media Server and Tautulli in a Docker container.

Can it handle it?

The Intel QSV support of the Celeron J3455 is amazing at Transcoding.

Thanks for the reply. I did see that video and a number of others by him. He had me convinced to get the Synology originally. Then I saw this video.

That got me to thinking. If something other than a hard drive goes bad on a NAS it is not readily replaceable unlike a PC. If the power supply on a PC goes bad it can be quickly repaired. That is what moved me away from the NAS.
