Plex won't play back, buffering

Last week all was well. I got a new mesh router on Friday, didn’t play with plex over the weekend, but now I can’t get anything to play without excessive buffering. I tried to pull the router out of the equation, but nothing seems to have changed (still buffering). Even running from the same system as the PMS with is plugged into the old router direct (no wifi).

I’ve upgraded the server, no joy.

Tried from various remote systems, laptop(s), roku… all on the home network.

youtube videos appear fine, just when trying to play though plex.

I don’t believe I’ve changed anything (or at least I’ve changed it back)

any thoughts? Most help I’ve found seems to assume it never worked. This worked fine until this week.

just to follow up/close this (In case someone else finds it). It was a self inflicted wound. I had the the files on a system on an old hub. I didn’t catch that I had moved it from the router to the hub when I set up my mesh. All is back to where it was before (minus the old hub)
