Plexamp 4.50.8 Windows - Now-playing Panel Artwork

Album art (as well as track and artist information) will not show up on the Windows now-playing panel - just shows “tv.plex.plexamp”. Media control works no problem. Album art loads perfectly within Plexamp. It was the same in 4.50.7

Tried playing from different sources, as well as different sized album art (from 495px to 3000px). Also tried on two devices (Win11 Home 25H2 and Win11 Education 25H2)

Don’t know what to look for in the logs but it seems like thumbnails are being requested (46px and 797px) and completed just fine, though I am probably looking at the images being displayed in the app itself:

Found it, thanks for the detail about the title and artist being missing too, that was the part that gave it away. A thumbnail Windows can’t open aborts the whole metadata update before any of it gets committed, so you get the bundle id instead of the track, and it started in 4.50.7 because that’s the build where we began sending artwork to the Windows now-playing panel at all. Fix is in for the next build, and from now on a cover that fails will cost you only the cover.
