Agreed you really need a plexamp skill
The Plex App skill pass through does not remember last time records, if you want to continue from a previous location on a record or audiobook, it will not remember this for a single audio track or audiobook.
Plexamp whilst using the same server does seem to actually be able to track and save track progress. Which is the whole value/usefulness of Plex and Plexamp.

Maybe words are not said correctly my feeling here is as user I would like to see Alexa skill as āMusic serviceā. So I/we can go to link plex as music service. So when ever we play music we can control which devices and group to play music too. @sekthree

Companies have to pay to be on there. Plex doesnāt have nearly enough money to do that.
