@odinb1 Many thanks for the guidance. I rebuilt the Pi with RaspbianOS and it works a treat. The Allo Digione Signature hat sounds fab! Compared to Volumio, the overall experience of Plexamp plus PMS is far better. Much more flexible as it supports multi-room audio (i.e. streaming to multiple Chromecast Audio devices) and of course the music library looks amazing.

What is the future of headless Plexamp @elan given there are no official guides on how to set it up?

Did you end up with PMS as a docker on the Pi or not?

Yes, indeed. I installed PMS in a docker so the whole unit is a self-contained music streamer. Works a treat!

FYI my Pi boots from a 500GB SSD, so plenty of space for the music
