Wonder if you can help. I have a media pc at home and work away a few days a week. I purchased a raspberry Pi and installed xbmc with the plex addon version 2.0. The addon works wonders with my online account a streams great but uses the full upstream of my home broadband connection (5Mb - not nice for the rest of the house :-)). i tried to turn on transcoding on the PI and scaled it to 320Kbps but now i just get a black screen . The plx media servers looks to be streaming it out as the bandwidth counters are counting up but just a black screen on the Pi.
Can anyone help me configure this so it works?
I tested this ona windows pc, mac and phone and all seem to transcode without issue so I am guessing its a problem with the plugin. Anyone else have this issue?
This works if you downgrade XBMC
