strange wget didn’t install. At least the modified PlexConnect.py is still not needed thanks for confirming that, again. Don’t forget you can use this on multiple aTV’s now that you iOS device is a host. You can also travel with it as well
Hi there, first of all thanks for this awesome port to iOS.
My issue is that the plexconnect service stops immediately after startup. It works when I manually start PlexConnect.py.

@wahlman.j i have everyhitng installed correctly but i am getting this error about there being no log --> http://d.pr/i/11PKa ? i cant get my certificate uploaded on my apple tv error (-1004) --> http://d.pr/i/1cwNm im assuming it has something to do with the log error? on that note i can confirm that i do not see the log file in the directory? --> http://d.pr/i/15xxA, any idea how to fx this mate?
What iOS/device? Reset the device then try again…
sorry about the late reply i forgot to post back about the last issue
so the only way i was able to get this to work was to restore my ios device,
on another note im having another issue , nothing will play as you can see here plex connect installed everything loads fine but when i hit play it stays black the buffer bar loads but that it?
this is whats happening – > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yu9xCQ1KbD4
i dont want to lose my jailbreak by restoring! how do I completely uninstall plex connect from my device mate? that way i could uninstall then reinstall all components and see if that fixes this?
or is there anything else i can do to fix this?
Another option is cydia eraser which will preserve your jailbreak:
https://cydia.saurik.com/package/com.saurik.impactor/
Not sure what is going on with it staying on a black screen, can you post a log from the iOS device? Likely you will need a sftp client to grab the log and post it here from your OS (Cyberduck, Filezilla etc).

Not a problem using sftp Where is the log located mate?
Also just for my info worse case scenario is there no way compleatly uninstall plex connect and reinstall?
just a quick fyi i setup a completely separate iOS device brand new never had plex connect on it before and it is doing the same thing will not stream will just load the buffer and stay on that screen indefinitely what could cause this mate?
