PlexConnect Theme for Windows

I know there is a few topic about that but i'm just wondering if we can have a full step by step instruction about installing them on windows?

Install Python 2.7.x

Install Pillow (for your version of windows/Python) I installed one from http://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/#pillow

Then install The Plexconnect branch as per the normal plex instructions on the Wiki

Thanks i’ll try that.

I'm not well versed in how to get around Git. How do you find the different themes?

I like playing around with the themes, and in the main theme thread (https://forums.plex.tv/topic/100363-new-library-view-layout/) there is a list of the main contributors who have developed their own themes for PlexConnect. At several points in that thread it is also described how to install the themes/layouts.

If I remember correctly, the list is:

iBaa

wahlmanj

falco953

stoffez

CyberGhost84

brotuser

Who most recently updated their repositories 1, 1, 8, 8, 13, and 105 days ago, respectively.

You can access any of the repositories on github.com/InsertNameHere and then install them on your computer using whatever method you initially used to install iBaa's canonical version. You can also clone them all and pull the latest version if there are any new commits, but you may want to play around with git for a while before doing that.

There is/was some talk of incorporating themes (or at least a theme refresh) into the main version of PlexConnect as it may be possible to make a nice theme that doesn't require PIL (or Pillow, or whatever), and in that case it's not such a hassle. So there might be a new theme on the way if you don't want to play around with less stable/tested repositories. If any of the experienced members/contributors want to correct something I've said, then please do so.
