I’m not sure if it’s in keeping with your theme but do you think you could incorporate a page which displayed an on deck/recently added to all the shared servers like @CyberGhost84 has on his plexconnect theme, It’s really useful If you want to quickly return to something you were watching earlier.
Just wondering if the settings option is needed next to search and server selection as pressing back/menu returns to the plex user screen with the settings option there as well, I personally don’t play around with the settings after the first initial time plexconnect is opened.
Maybe instead of the settings option it could be replaced with a quick go to screen with the on decks for shared servers like I was explaining in the other post ?
Have to say that this plexconnectapp is getting very close making the official plex app redundant !

Yeah, settings button will be removed for cases when you have more than 1 user as you can use it from log-in screen. However, this button is not a show stopper for all-shared-servers idea. I’m not sure I have the means of implementing this ATM in Quartz but if @baa or @CyberGhost84 make a code support in the app I can probably “theme” it in Quartz.
Plexconnect has already replaced official app in our house We find UI much easier to navigate.
@pecinko , I had a discussion with @CyberGhost84 the other day, he asked me wether he should make his own theme or continue adding to your Quartz theme, I personally think everyone would benefit from having the two combined, I love the look and functionality of your theme with some of the features from @CyberGhost84.

As far as Quartz is concerned after today’s code push, theme is pretty much complete. it would be nice if you guys could spread the word so we can make some testing before App Store release.

I’ve mentioned the Quartz theme on the official apple tv plex app forum, I think some people are a little daunted with having to compile apps with Xcode, not sure if it’s of any interest but i’ve noticed a lot of developers seem to be using testflight for the apple tv to enable testing of apps,TestFlight - Apple Developer
Yes, test flight is the tool to do that… but it needs paid iOS developer account, plus the upload to/verification process within Apple.

PS Is this up better reloading content after u have watched something, compared to the official Plex app, where I always bneed to reload?
u can have a look at the app in the Xcode simulator?
If it is really needed then i could make a video of the Theme and Official Plexconnect App.

…because the name alone is already against the Plex Inc third party rules. You can’t officially have the word “plex” in there.

That guy who created the other apple tv plex app called it "simple x " anyway we could play around with the word plexconnect ? It would be nice to keep the name, especially for the guys who put all the hard work in. it’s their baby !
