i’ve looked and done a google search, but i can’t find a clear guide on how to do something like this…
There is no all-in-one guide. Your best sources of info are the docs and blog at dev.plexapp.com and posting specific questions here on the forum. Sometimes, one or more people with some plugin experience will be available to answer questions in the Plex Chat.
Start by doing some reading on the Dev site. Pick an existing plugin, look at the code and try to follow how it works. Start messing with some code of your own and if you get stuck, ask for help.
