PMS not providing multi-channel audio through Apple TV app

I have used Plex for a long time, but recently I upgraded my living room system to an Onkyo Receiver and a 4K Apple TV. Using Plex app for Apple TV, it shows a file has 5.1 audio, but when playing the receiver only gets 2.0 channels. The Apple TV works fine for surround sound and even Dolby Atmos using other apps (like Netflix). I tried the PMS settings, but couldn’t find anything specific. I appreciate any help.
