PMS on Debian

Server Version#: 1.19.1.2701
Server: Linux mx 4.9.0-12-amd64 #1 SMP Debian 4.9.210-1 (2020-01-20) x86_64 GNU/Linux
Player Version#: NA

I’ve installed PMS on the server and it is working great. However I have a desire to access my server directly from the internet using one of my domains. Example plex.mydomain.tld
However I can’t seem to find the apache2 configuration file for PMS so that I can modify it to perform the action I require.

Ideally I would like to get PMS to operate inside my ISPconfig3 control panel so I can also take advantage of lets encrypt for SSL.

Your comments/thoughts would be most helpful

Fred

The most you will be able to do is inform PMS of your domain so it recognizes it coming in. PMS will keep its encryption to Plex.tv and its clients.

Settings - Server - Network - Show Advanced (where you import your cert)

At the basic host level, it’s not too difficult.

The moment things get fancy, cert violations occur and then nothing works.

Reverse proxy should do what I require. I just can’t locate the appropriate apache2 conf file/s for PMS.

PMS doesn’t use external config files in the usual sense (.conf).
You need to work with it through its Web Interface and fill in the fields
