If I install PMS on the 2019 Shield Pro and mount a Synology server where the media files are, will the NAS drives spin down when I’m not watching content? Running PMS on the NAS prevents the NAS from sleeping.
It sleeps for me, and awakens when needed. However I ended up selecting to sleep the hard drives as my older unit was taking too long to wake up (sometimes timing out and having to attempt to play a second time, not a huge problem but as I have a Freescale processor sleep benefits are minimal)
