Another podcast thread here. I’ve been looking for a thread during the last hour and I didn’t see any similar thread, so please let me know if there are any and point to me there if exists.
I’m looking to download and keep on my server the podcast I want to hear. I think mobile devices can already do this, but I would like to manage it on any computer through the web gui and keep them on my server, not just to save bandwidht but also for keeping them as long as I want to. Used to desktop podcast clients, which let to download them on the hard disk and, I was surprised to see that plex didn’t allow.
Is there any possibility for devs to modify the web gui and let plex download and store the podcasts, as if they were another “library” (or let the user to put them on a new music library, for instance), just like DRV does?
I think this would be a great basic feature will make happy a lot of plex premium users out ther.
