Please allow at least the uploading of portrait orientated posters for tv episodes.
These, for instance, would look great in my library, but when I upload them, it just crops out the middle 4:3 portion.
Should be a fairly simple one here. Would like the Episode View of a TV Series to be able to show me a “Poster” size format like all the movies instead of only the “Widescreen” picture. Should be able to handle either type of picture for an episode.
I’ve added the cool episode pictures that IMDb has added to Batman TAS. But they are “Poster” size instead of “Widescreen”, so only get to see the middle of the picture.
Mod-Edit: Merged this with an already existing similar feature suggestion (despite that one not having received votes since the forum moved to the new platform). Please search before posting duplicate requests in order to avoid distracting votes (assuming your post as well as that original one suddenly gain some votes but remain below the developer’s radar because each of them just doesn’t get enough).
Either add an option or have the view automatically adapt to show full posters for individual episodes if added, rather than one a 16:9 portion. Obviously most people do not give individual episodes their own posters, but this can be very helpful for specials, as often movies can get lumped in there. I’d like to be able to see the full poster that I added to make identifying episodes easier. I’m sure this would not be difficult to implement, the view would just be the same as for a movie collection, or at least similar.
