I was thinking as I was re-organizing my Plex library again… how cool it would be to be able to PRINT out the library based on various sort terms. I know it can be printed elsewhere but to have it as built into the server would be a very nice function/feature. I can’t imagine it would be that difficult to add a print feature, but then again who knows.
I know many may find this frivolous or unimportant, just as I have many of the suggestions I have read by others, but then we all have different desires and needs. When managing a huge library as many of us have, being able to print out sorted parts of the list or the entire library would be a great help in many ways. And to do it from the server would eliminate several other steps.
Thanks Otto… I actually have that but I thought (hopefully mistakingly) that the ability to use that was going to vanish soon in Plex. I really hope that isn’t the case because I have used that for several years to share PlayLists with others. I must say I forgot that I can use it to print the library. I had done that once before when I lost a hard drive of movies but still had the Plex data file. LIFE SAVER!!!
I’ll revisit it and hope it can do some of the sorting that I am looking for. Thanks again!!!
