I now use Plex + Tidal and are somwhat happy with this soultion. Payment with Plex gives Plex pass for ā€œfreeā€.
Not sure I will continue with Tidal becasue their lossless isn’t lossless.
Qobuz is finaly in Norway and I’m serious thinking to swich.
I really hope that Plex see this as a win-win situation and kick Tidal out and takes Qobuz in. Or server both

Would love this integration!

moved away from Tidal to Qobuz earlier this year. (MQA is DOA.) Qobuz is working out very well so far. not perfect but it’s where we are now.

i would assume long term goals for plex include integration for MOST major services across the board. In the mean time Qobuz, I would argue, is a VERY good, if not the best, option for audiophiles at the moment.

Hi-res is a non-negotiable for me personally going forward from here on out.

edit: and BTW i couldn’t care any less about the payment/cost link.

I’d love this feature. Currently using Roon, but would switch to Plex Pass if they added Qobuz integration.

Not only does Qobuz have better HiFi pricing they also give 30% discounts to HiFi purchases when you have a subscription. This seems like an ideal partnership where there is a focus on both owning and streaming your music collection inside plex.

That sort of star-terrorism doesn’t work; in fact, it sours us to the prospect of doing the requested thing.

Don’t be a dick.

Don’t sour me on Plex altogether. Just because you don’t like what I have to say doesn’t mean you have the right to speak to me this way. I have flagged your comment as inappropriate.

Actually, I have a lifetime Plex pass, but I just decided to remove Plex from my local server, my phone and my TV. - I’m done.

And to clarify, I flagged your comment as inappropriate because not only did you insult me with name calling but you accused me of ā€œterrorismā€. It’s not lost on me that you misused this term on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. It’s nothing less than reprehensible.

This topic an all others asking for integration of a content provider are being closed. We do not have any control if a content provider wants to, has a compatible API or if they are allowed based on their contracts with content creators to resell the streaming rights to said content.

While we did contact multiple providers requested in various topics, if they do not get back to us , then no we are not going to push it. While in the past we left these content provider feature suggestion topics open as a reminder if one did get back to us, it is clear that they generally just become toxic with false beliefs and accusations about what we can or cannot do.

If you wish for a content provider to be be a partner and integrate with us you should contact that provider and suggest they contact us. If they are able to both legally and technically able to have their service integrate into our product we would happy to explore how to potentially integrate their service.
