QTY of movies is different when sorting on title and all other sortings

Dear all,

I have not big problem/issue but when I have a Movie library. If I sort the movies by title, in the main screen it is saying 6516, however if I sort any other way, it is saying 5986. So here the count is over 500 lesser. I’m not sore if the list itself all movies are shown or not. But it looks strange to me, that the QTY is different when the sorting is done.

If I do the sorting with Series and also the Music Video (which are only 48) then the QTY is staying the same, however I do the sorting. But the problem is only with the Movie Library. Any body an idea how this can happen?

The number you’re referring to is not the number of movies but the number of items displayed in the current view.
If you have inline collections enabled, those will show while the library is sorted by title – hence you will e.g. see all movies that are not in a collection + the collections (but not the movies which are part of a collection) OR all movies + the collections (if you have the library configured to display both, the collections and their items).

Other views do not include the inline collections, hence the totals don’t match.
