I registered and have scrolled through most of the posts...is he selling access to his own Plex server or other servers as well? If he's selling access to other servers this is a huge security hole that Plex needs to address!
He said he had over 80 shares on that box so I’m guessing yes. Also brags in other form about 1000s of servers, and as a user here has just been re hacked by same guy go figure …

The best thing you can do is keep an eye on who you are sharing with. If any accounts look suspicious, kill them.
You can also install Plexwatch which can help.

this is even funnier, and i guess some justice, the guy selling the stream on ebay is a guy who bought it for £40 off hax0r and sold it for £120 lol, and is in the thread pi$$ing him off asking for more subs! loons..
Is there anyway we can be notified via the app or email of any new shares? I think that might really slow some stuff down. I just deleted a user I never added to my shares!! I love my plex server !!! Keep up the great work!!
