Random Sorting

I have been really wanting a Random sort option in Plex Home Theater. Sorts movies randomly, this is always a fun option when you are not sure what to watch.

The RARflix Roku client has shuffle play for all kinds of content...

Yeah not looking for random play. Random sorting feature etc.. Sort by name, date added sort random or shuffle so I can look at the movies not play them yet.

I was going to create a request for this but I found this old one.

My usage situation is this:
I am usually using one of my Rokus but sometimes I use my Shield or my Raspberry PI or my Fire TV.
I have a large library and I like to watch movies and often I have a good idea of what I would like to watch but sometimes I just want to browse and find something that might be of interest and when I start I have no idea even what kind of movie I am interested in.
Normally if I start browsing I start either at the first movie (begins with a number) or the last one. Begins with a Z)
I can get a bit more randomness by selecting a letter and browsing from there.

But what I would like is a “Browse Random” selection that basically scrambles my titles so I see a different order every time so that I have a better chance of finding a hidden gem that I normally might not think of.

I know the importance of something like this cannot be too high but it would be nice and I do not really think it would be too difficult.

Plex please consider this little enhancement.
