There’s already two existing suggestions discussing this topic from different perspectives:
- General approach → Playlist sorting and searching feature request
- Display playlist in table mode with option to sort/filter columns → Feature Request: Playlist tabular view with sort-able/select-able/filter-able columns for showing metadata
I suppose the 2nd one is more in line with your suggestion?
I suggest you comment/vote in whichever you consider to be the better match. This way you’ll help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes from existing threads.
Unless I’ve missed some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
