We need smarter filters to have automatic smart playlists for music.
Expected Behaviour:
I want a filter with most/least listens songs in a given period to create smart playlists like:
Most listen to in summer, least listen to in winter, music on way to work.
Current Behaviour:
Only possible to filter the most played songs overall, not in a given period.
Solution:
More filters with period:
“Titles (not) played between 01-01-2019 and 31-12-2019”
“Titles most/least played between 01-01-2019 and 31-12-2019”
We also need to filter by folder so that we can create folders for playlists and just drop our new songs into the correct folder and they are in the playlist.
I’d be happy if there was just the “contains” option in playlist creation instead of just “is” or “is not” for Track Genre!! I create tons of playlists with lots of specifics and to me this is the MOST BASIC feature but isn’t available. Thus, to create a playlist I have to create it using a long list of options that it can use ‘any’ of because I have multiple genres in my track genre fields; ie Alternative / Rock / Metal / Gothic, etc
I know plexamp already has 25 top played that can be played as a playlist. It would be nice to have access to these filters for our own playlists. Currently there is a track last played and track plays filter. Track last played works but Track plays counts all time track plays and there is no way to make to last played in x days/weeks/months/ect. I am not sure what the exact filter would be but an example I can think of:
A filter of:
Within date - Is before/is after/ect. - mm/dd/yyyy
That combined with the track plays could give a top played result for 30/60/90 days or other time period.
