Recently played music stuck on one artist

Hey guys,

My recently played music always has one artist at the front, even though I’ve not played them in a while. Is there a way to sort this? Pretty annoying.

If feasible, edit the library (advanced) and disable ‘store track progress’ to see if that helps.

A post-op reboot may be in order.

Other than that, a client in the couch cushions, on and paused, would be the next thing I’d look for.

Thanks for the info. I checked through all the approved devices and it seems to have sorted itself. So all good.

This has come back again, what exactly what I need to do for ‘post op reboot’?

The 3 items that are staying in my recently played artists are ones that I had synced to my phone, but not anymore, so seems odd that they’re still there.

When you change a setting like that, you may need to restart the server (or hit the Save button).

Sounds like you have a different issue now. More advanced help would be in order - I have never used sync.

I’ve found a solution, I played a track from each artist that was stuck in recently played and it then moved the list on, so all is good.
