I would like to see if you have a friend list sharing movies , your friend can recomend movies to watch. Maybe a folder name recomendation and when you go there is the movies your friend recomend for you.
Lack of some type of feature like this is partly why I manually maintain a Featured Movies section on my PMS where I offer Monthly Features of new and old content based on activities for that month. It's actually the section that gets the most use by my Shared friends now. It's definitely been a big hit since I implemented it. I just wish there was an automated way to do it, like with some kind of Smart Section, or something like that?

I like the idea of a Smart section it could be similar to the way iTunes can make all sorts of weird and wonderful smart playlists based on ratings and how many times a song has been played etc...
Its not entirely fully featured but in the Unofficial App Store, there is an app called Trakt that uses www.trakt.com. I use it to auto publish my library contents. It works well and highly recommend it.

I was going to post a very similar request and found this. They already have the option to recommend web content, it would be much more useful to me if they had the option to recommend content from your own library to friends.
+1 I would love to give and receive recommendations from my friends that I share my libraries with.
+1, would love to see a recommendations section where you can actually recommend chosen titles to whichever users you choose to send the recommendation to.
