You cannot recommend movies to friends.
That is only for Online Content.
We have been asking for Plex to add the ability to recommend movies and / or share playlists ever since the Earth Cooled.
No Joy yet…
Was just about to request this. I too would like to be able to recommend media to friends. A comment attachment to the recommendations would also be nice.
