I finally got around to implementing the features that you had requested.

- Writer and directors tags in the episode files - see https://bitbucket.org/mjarends/extendedpersonalmedia-agent.bundle/src/season-metadata-support/Samples/episode.metadata for an example
- Support episode file names that contains dates without spaces (YYYYMMDD, MMDDYYYY, YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS, MMDDYYYY_HHMMSS)
- Support for season metadata files - see https://bitbucket.org/mjarends/extendedpersonalmedia-agent.bundle/src/season-metadata-support/Samples/season.metadata for an example
If you have some time can you beta test the updates. You will need to update both the scanner and metadata agent to the versions linked to below and update your metadata files used the linked to examples above.
