Please allow us the option to disable the Experimental Player within the Android TV layout.
Some users, using root, have devised a relatively hacky way of accomplishing this and are reporting that playback is much less buggy, albeit, in doing so, they are sacrificing a few ATV interface gems in favor of the standard Android playback controls.
