Interesting! It still costs more than the standard Hifiberry Digi+ HAT, but a nice option indeed for other boards. If all goes well, I should have a RBPi again next week

There’s another Pi in my life 
It’s sitting next to the WiiM Pro which will take care of chromecast, spotify connect, webradio… basically all my online streaming needs. The Pi will now be used only for Plexamp running in Raspberry OS instead of running it on top Moode OS. So now it is a much cleaner & hopefully more stable setup.
It still would be nice though to see Plex integrating with other players in the future.
Quick question by the way @elan : if I enable “Sweet Fades”, will I also end up with fades in gapless albums?

I’m not Elan, but complete albums will not have fades. Emphasis on complete. If you are missing tracks it will not treat it as an album and you will get fades.

Justboom has a decent dac hat (I’m using) and they also have amp hats well priced. But as Elan says. Some excellent chifi class d around for little $$.
Well Lumin just announced that a big chunk of their streamers just added support as being a Plex Client. Which is big news indeed.

I actually am glad to see Lumin expand its Plex support but I’m curious to know what other devices are out there that can truly be an ALL IN ONE without breaking the bank.
For example I’ve been really setting my eyes on getting multiple WiiM Pro’s streaming devices however the problem lies in their specs, not just their audio specs but the fact that they don’t play nice with Google Home devices and Sonos speakers properly. There seems to always be trade offs with a budget friendly way to incorporate an all in one system.
