Hello all, I just had an update flagged for PMS this morning in Unraid, and ran the update (have done this many times before). Today it doesn’t seem to be coming back up, instead giving the…

"<Response code="503" title="Maintenance" status="Plex Media Server is currently running database migrations."/>"

…that I’ve seen in a couple of other posts. My concern is that, when I look at the logging in the Unraid container, I keep getting…

Starting Plex Media Server.
Error: Unable to set up server: std::exception (N2DB9ExceptionE)
Stopping Plex Media Server.

…which feels like maybe something worse is going on. Is this a normal message? I have quite a bit of media (800 movies, tons of shows, 20K songs, etc), so if this needs to just cook for awhile that’s fine, but I want to be sure that exception isn’t anything to be concerned about.

Cheers!

I dug into the logs just now and found these final three lines in the Plex Server logs:

Jul 16, 2025 19:05:00.747 [22756667816592] DEBUG - ChangestampAllocator: initialized to 20084344
Jul 16, 2025 19:05:01.035 [22756667816592] ERROR - SQLITE3:0x208, 11, database corruption at line 91363 of [a29f994989]
Jul 16, 2025 19:05:01.035 [22756667816592] ERROR - SQLITE3:0x208, 11, statement aborts at 5: [UPDATE activities SET finished_at=started_at WHERE finished_at IS NULL] database disk image is malformed

Not sure if that is really what I should have been paying attention to, but if so, is the best idea to restore from a backup? (I have one from 7/2 it looks like).
