Local movies with all the info we know and love.
Hello all, recently my Mac mini went in for repairs and I found myself without my plex fix for a week. I did however still have my external hard drives which could be played on the roku via plugging in directly but all of the files were just in standard folder list format.I was wondering if it were possible to add a channel on the roku which would allow metadata to be scraped and somehow stored for the movies/shows that are attached directly via the USB port with the lovely plex interface but without the necessity of having a connected PMS.
This would also be ideal if a person was having a movie night at someone else's house as the size of the roku and external drives these days would make transporting a breeze.
