Rss (queue) feeds feature request

I would like to request a watched indication on feeds added to your queue. It would be helpful to know which videos I. The feed I saw already and “hide them” so I can get to the newer videos like we can do in the library for movies and tv shows.

I don't think that PMS does support a "watched" flag for channels... this would be a Server feature request, wouldn't it?

Does this work on other Plex Clients?

it works on the apps in my media library and on channels but not on feeds.

Aeh... could you please give more details? I think we have an naming issue here...

What are you referring to with "apps in my media library"?

What with Channels? PMS Plugins with video content? Anything more specific?

What are feeds - in Plex context?

Sorry Baa

I use the plex it/email feature to send rss video feeds to plex. This is where I would like to have a watched now feature as it is hard to know what I watched and what I have not.

The watched not feature is already present in my media library when I watch a TV show or Movies. This is the feature I am looking for. I hope this makes more sense.

In other words:

One of the best features of the movies and TV Shows area of Plex (and Boxee for that matter) is the mark as watched feature. I wish this feature would also apply to internet shows such as Revision 3 videos so that I know what I already watched and it would be removed from the list. I see the feature is there is other areas and also know that other apps can and do have this feature on internet channels/media. FYI, this feature is included with the queue.

Plex Media Server (PMS) does not support "Mark Watched" or "Mark Unwatched" for individual Plex Channels, but only for Plex Libraries. This means that Plexconnect cannot support them either.

institute11 - it might for MyPlex content (queue)?

Bboy486 - it *might* come with MyPlex support - but honestly, I have never heard about it nor used it myself. I guess we have to see...

I have never used the Plex Queue or “Plex It” features so someone else will to address that. But Plexconnect cannot support a queue until MyPlex, right?

The plex it feature doesn’t seem to stick. I have tried both the bookmarklet and the email. It seems that it will only do it for that session. I was hoping I could set my feeds to stick if that makes sense.
