Safe to delete files in... \Databases\save & \last?

I just noticed that \Databases\save folder is over 50GB and \Databases\last is over 14GB (under C:\Users<UserName>\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support). All files in these folders are from over 2021 (over 2 years ago).

I need to clean up temp files and such to reclaim needed space on my drive… is it safe to delete these files or is there a tool/util that will clean out old not used stat to reduce the space used?

thx!

AFAIK there should be no subfolders inside of
...Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Databases\
except those for music sonic analysis, which are named like Music Analysis nnn.
If you see other subfolders in there, I think it’s save to assume that these were left behind by some 3rd-party tools.
(My guess would be, it was left behind by some database repair tool or the powershell script for backing up the plex data.)
Unless you are directly in the process of using such a tool, it should be save to remove these subfolders.
But leave the various .db files stored directly inside the \Databases folder alone. They contain essential data of your various Plex libraries.

I appreciate the quick reply… I’ll remove them. I need the space

You must never let the volume run out of space, or you may suffer data loss.
Consider using a dedicated SSD, if your media collection is rather large and you dont want to disable some Plex features to save space.
