Safely Shutting down while processing?

Server: 1.17.0.1
Win 10

It was my fault but I corrupted the databases while screwing around. My bad and I know it.
So I deleted everything (not content) and reinstalled the PMS Win Server app. It took a couple days last time to process everything and that’s ok. There were over 650k files in the PMS folders (previewed, thumbnails, logs, cache, etc.).

While it is generating video previews and scanning libraries is there a safe way to shut down and have it pick up where it left off when restarted? I need to install a new video card and move the server. But if that’s an absolutely bad idea I’ll wait it out.

Thanks

Wait it out, and next time, look here:

I actually looked for something like that and didn’t find it. I took a shot at renaming the FB file with the most recent date but missed a step.

Good info thanks. Lessons learned and fortunately not a big issue. Totally my bad.

Thanks!
